Question 1

Is SoundIQ music really royalty-free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every track is generated by SoundIQ's in-browser engine and ships with a licence that lets you use it as background music in videos, podcasts, stores and streams without paying PRO (performing-rights organisation) fees.

Question 2

Do I own the tracks I generate?

Accepted Answer

You get a licence to use each track you generate and save. SoundIQ isn't claiming artistry — it's a service for licence and convenience, so you can ship content without copyright takedowns.

Question 3

What's the difference between the free and commercial licence?

Accepted Answer

Free tracks include a short SoundIQ watermark and a standard commercial licence. Upgrading a track removes the watermark so it's ready for client-facing work.

Question 4

How does Inspiration Match work?

Accepted Answer

Drop a reference audio file and SoundIQ analyses its tempo, key, brightness and energy entirely in your browser, then generates a new track shaped by those traits. The reference file is never stored.

Question 5

Can I use SoundIQ music on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the licence covers social and commercial background use. Because tracks are AI-generated and licence-cleared, they won't trigger copyright claims the way stock-library tracks can.

Question 6

Do I need to credit SoundIQ?

Accepted Answer

No credit is required, though a mention is always appreciated.
